First holiday plan trip to Jalatunda " Pemandian Putri "

Jolotundo temple placed at Penanggungan mountainside, Seloliman-Trawas. It’s about +55 km from Surabaya city.

Mountain springs water Jolotundo

Jolotundo temple is "petirtaan" (water pool) building made in period Airlangga (Kahuripan kingdom). This building made from Andesti stone chiseled soft. The history of this archaeological there is a number 997 at the stone on the right and Yenpeng article on the left back wall.

This temple is loves monument of king Udayana to greet his child born, "Prabu Airlangga", and the other source, this temple is the place of Airlangga hermitage after his throne postpones and replaced with his child.
 

Uniqueness of this "petirtaan" is the water levels never decrease although dry season and flowing away, the water quality is the best at world and have a lot of mineral.
 

There are gazebo and "pendopo" to enjoy the air, water, and the view of Penanggungan Mountain.
Jolotundo area is the starting points to 17 temples at the other widespread alongside Penanggungan mountaineering stripe.
